Product Review: Kraft Vinaigrettes
I love a good salad 🥗 & the dressing is KEY 🔑. Today I tried two new @kraft_brand vinaigrettes! One was Raspberry and the other was Roasted Garlic 🧄 . The Raspberry Vinaigrette is definitely a winner. 🥇 They both are delicious vinaigrettes and are perfect for a fun summer salad! ☀️ I’d actually even recommend using the roasted garlic vinaigrette as a marinade as well! 😋. Enjoy friends! 💜

Schnebly Redlands Winery Review
Thank you @schneblywinery for an amazing private winery tour! JP was excellent & very informative.
If you’re ever in South Florida, I’d highly recommend a wine tour and wine tasting at Schnebly Redlands Winery. Such a beautiful estate with the perfect ambiance and great service! (They also follow CDC guidelines if you decide to go during this time).
We also made a lunch reservation at their restaurant on site, which was very pleasant. I loved that they had a separate #vegan menu.
During the tasting, our two fav wines were the Cat 3 Hurricane & Sweet Avocado 🥑. I’ve never had avocado wine before, but it was fantastic! I even learned how they make it, during the tour. I love that this winery specializes in exotic tropical fruit wine. So many delicious wine options! We also got to keep our branded wine glasses, which was cool! Special thanks to Chris, who made our experience great. The entire staff was very accommodating.
Depending on where you live, if you’re interested in ordering a bottle, the winery will ship to you. Definitely recommend it. Click here for more details.

Heinz Honeyracha Review
You know I love to cook & I love trying new things! Have you tried #HeinzHoneyracha? (Yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like…sweet 🍯 with a little spicy 🌶 spice)
@Heinz Honeyracha Saucy Sauce is LITerally🔥. I definitely wasn’t expecting the flavor to be so powerful. It starts off with a sweetness that makes you think ‘hmmm this isn’t too bad’ THEN the spice hits you ANDDDDD it’s so good! Definitely recommend eating with sweet potato fries. (That’s my guilty pleasure) So yummy!

I’ve decided to go VEGAN!
Wow. What a decision. Here’s a little back story:
In 2018 I decided to pursue a vegan diet for one year. It was very challenging, but I accomplished my goal nonetheless. I wanted to challenge myself to a healthier lifestyle for at least one year. Well why not make it indefinite, you ask? To be quite honest, it’s because I really love seafood. At the time, I was not willing to give up my favorite food group.
Fast forward to May 2020. Here I am, during the COVID-19 pandemic, with lots more free time and time for reflection and self evaluation. The other day, I was having a conversation with my twin brother and his friend, who is vegan. During our conversation we talked about vegan dishes, and vegan dining options. It was in that moment that I realized I was actually proud that I followed a vegan diet for a year. To be fully transparent, I really wanted that sense of pride back. There was this sense of wanting to prove to myself that I didn’t have to make excuses for everything; that I could totally take on a lifestyle change, challenge or not. My decision was more than just trying cool new recipes and taking super aesthetic photos. It was living longer. My focus was now good health, caring more for my temple (body), and ultimately, my livelihood.
So what now? It starts now. No turning back. I have a new mindset and I’m ready to live a healthier lifestyle. No excuses.
Cheers to more life…and fun food photos!
Taco Tuesday – Danae’s Fish Tacos Recipe
I received a lot of compliments and inquires on my recent fish tacos.
Here’s my personal recipe:
Danae’s Taco Tuesday Fish Tacos
Ingredients:
Any white fish
Louisiana Fish Fry cornmeal batter
Corn tortillas
Olive oil
Shredded Mexican Blend cheese
Scallions
Red onion
Cilantro
Tomatoes
Lettuce
Hot sauce (if desired)
Instructions:
Rinse off thawed fish filets
Dip fish in fish fry cornmeal batter to cover both sides.
Fill medium sized pan with 1/2 inch of olive oil on medium/high heat.
Fry fish until golden brown on both sides. Once cooked, set aside & cut each filet in half vertically (like a strip).
Add a teaspoon of olive oil in medium pan, and quickly cook each corn tortilla on medium heat, flipping often to avoid burning.
Cut up remaining toppings and top off tacos to your desire. Add a little hot sauce for a kick, if you’d like.
Enjoy!
